Barthol Chapel School is a small rural school situated 22 miles from the City of Aberdeen and 4.5 miles from the villages of Tarves and Methlick. Our catchment area is extensive and as a result most of our learners use school transport. On leaving Barthol Chapel School our learners transfer to Meldrum Academy.
Barthol Chapel is a school where everyone works together as a community to create an ethos where everyone is nurtured, respected, included, inspired and motivated to do their best in reaching their full potential. We value and welcome partnerships with partents/carers and the community. Our active Parent Council and Barthol Chapel Community Association work closely with the school to achieve the best outcome for our learners. We take pride in the fact that Barthol Chapel is a happy and industrious school with a real sense of team spirit.
